Professional Dynamics Inc. Announces Donna Townsend, RN as PDI’s Chief Operating Officer

Rancho Cordova CA, December 5, 2008: Professional Dynamics Inc. A Northern California based, worker’s compensation, managed care services company announced that Donna Townsend, RN has come on board as their Chief Operating Officer.

Professional Dynamics, Inc. (“PDI”) has been partnering with employers for more than 27 years to develop innovative solutions directed at helping injured workers obtain appropriate medical care, with a focus on returning the employee to work as soon as possible.

Donna is a seasoned clinician with over 20 years of experience in healthcare, managed care and medical/ disability management, including positions as a Senior Consultant for an international brokerage firm in the Risk Consulting division, as well as Operations Director of a national healthcare organization. She has participated in a number of managed care projects, including setting up large scale managed care models for nationally recognized employers and vendors. Donna has participated in design of Information Technology risk and medical management programs, served on California based Boards as a Director, and facilitated a California Focus group to exchange ideas and formulate innovative programs in the Medical Provider Networks and Managed Care industry.

Donna is a Registered Nurse, a Certified Professional in Disability Management, Public Health and received a Bachelors of Science in Nursing from California State University of Los Angeles. She is currently working towards a Master of Business Administration in Healthcare. Donna is an active member of the American Association of Occupational Health Nurses (AAOHN) and the Disability Management Employers Coalition (DMEC) and regularly presents for each of these organizations at regional and national seminars. To assure expertise in consulting for her areas of specialty Donna continues active practice in Emergency and Occupational Medicine.
